Saturday morning I said to Brian, "Let's skip church tomorrow and drive to California and hang out at the beach all day." Agreeably, he said, "Okay." I then said, "Then I need to get a pedicure so my toes will look cute in the sand." Unfortunately, we didn't get to the beach because while I was having my pedicure, he got a phone call that made him commit to being at church. Darn that responsible husband of mine! Oh well, at least my heels are soft and my toenails are cute.
Sunday morning, sitting in church, I whispered into Brian's ear, "Thank you for putting up with my craziness."
He whispered back, "It seems normal if you have to deal with it every day."
Can't argue with that.
I will be coming home... Hark, now hear the sailors cry. Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic. (Van Morrison)

Pi Day
I love my genius, math nerd husband. Pi Day is a major holiday in our house. Normally we have pizza pie or meat pies with pie for dessert. Tonight we decided to go out to eat. Marie Callender's was the only logical choice. I told Davis and Isaac that for their entree, they had to either order some sort of pie, or they could have something with "pi" in the name. They both ignored me, but Brian ordered shepherd's pie, and I had chicken PIccata! Brian and Isaac also got dessert pie, but since Brian gave extra credit to his students that took pie to class, we had plenty of pie at home.
Happy Pi Day and a Happy Birthday to Albert Einstein!

(I love this so much, I'm going to copy the idea and make my own Pi-casso....some day.)
